Do Not Trust Rick's! Called Brett(owner of Rick's) after having sentiment in our water and a salty taste. $300+ for... the call and to test the water. Installed a post sentiment filter, carbon tanks and chemical filtration ~$5500. Water still tasted awful-- very salty. So salty that our skin dried out in the shower. Retested the water a number of times, re installed the chemical filtration-- didn't change a thing. PPM in water increased with the carbon filters and chemical filtration! Brett claimed that we didn't hire him to fix the saltiness (sodium chloride) and it wasn't his problem. Also told us to consult a nutritionist to see if the water was safe-- "that is not [his] responsibility". I asked to have system removed and be refunded. Brett was only willing to remove the chemical filtration system and refund ~40% of the price. Now we are eating the cost, having to pay a competitor to remove the carbon filters and install a different system. Do not trust Rick's. Make sure to call at least 4 companies and take the time to understand what the potential solutions and costs are.read more

Rick's pump and water service is the best. They came for a small leak in piping for my sand separator. Easy fix. Chris,... in doing a full check of my system noticed another pipe which was just about to burst. Chris saved me from having a flooded basement. Brett who runs Rick's has top of the line people and great pricing. He is my go to guy!read more

On friday night at 10 pm since I did not have water and desperate , I called him and explain my problem He patiently... explain and said that he will send on early sat morning which he did and 2 young men came and found the problem from my well and set up the temporarily fix and have my water back till wed since they need more equipment. Could not be happier with the fix.read more

I guess we are the outliers here, but my wife called for an estimate one morning. Brett returned her call later on in... the evening right after dinner which was pretty unprofessional, but fine. We were trying to corral the kids into the bath so they were running around and giggling, but by no means screaming and Brett condescendingly said to my wife, “Wow I can’t believe you got all that down with all that noise in the background.” My wife was speechless by his rudeness. That noise was our children and he should have called during the day like a reasonable, considerate, and professional individual. After my wife immediately emailed him with our water tests, he never responded. Several weeks have elapsed and not a word, no follow-up. He actually saved us the headache of working with him because when it comes to our well, we didn’t want someone unresponsive and someone who is unprofessional. We ended up going with Westfair Water Systems. They are amazing and a A+ BBB business! Rick’s also did our neighbor’s system and installed improperly causing a small leak which caused some damage. So, I guess the rudeness was a slight blessing.read more

I can’t say enough good things about Rick’s Water Service. Lost my water on a Saturday. Called Brett at 9, he was... at my home by 11. Unfortunately this was not an easy fix. An adapter on the side of the well casing had rusted out after 40 years of use. We survived without water over the weekend. They coordinated calling in an excavator to be at my house by 8:30 first thing Monday to move boulders surrounding the casing and dig down 4 feet to repair. By 10:30 that morning the excavation was done and the adapter was replaced. Fair price and great service. I will definitely use them again.
